Kim Mwandia
Kim Mwandia – Founder/Board Chair & Director of Operations
Armed with an education in Computer Science and Aviation, and an innate desire to serve his community and help those less privileged, Kim sought to build a platform to facilitate his vision of supporting his neighbors in need. Combining 20 years of professional expertise in Entrepreneurship across the fields of Logistics, Renewable Energy and Healthcare Services, Humanity Vision was born. Humanity Vision serves as the vehicle for Kim’s dream of developing a nonprofit organization aimed at providing comprehensive resiliency services.
In his role as Founder/Board Chair & Director of Operations, Kim is responsible for leading the Vision, Strategy and Fundraising for the organization. He oversees the organization's day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient and effective operations while driving initiatives that align with the mission of Humanity Vision. His leadership and strategic vision play a key role in expanding the organization’s impact to reach more communities in need.
Grace Gitau
Grace Gitau – Co-Founder/Vice Board Chair & Director of Programs
Grace Gitau is the Co-Founder of Humanity Vision, also serving in the roles of Vice Board Chair and Director of Programs. Grace has a passion for community service and providing needed social services across various populations. In her words, “Humanity Vision is my way of making a difference and driving positive change in the world.”
Grace completed her undergraduate studies at Salem State College with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Information Technology. During these pivotal educational and professional development years, Grace joined a Human Services company where she was employed for 13 years. This experience confirmed her inner passion for helping people in need. This passion led her to establish her own company providing Applied Behavior Analysis Services for children and adults with Autism, which over the years has expanded to include other programs such as Mental Health Services, Social Skills, Individual and Group therapies for adults, children, young adults and families. With the support of her business partner, Kim Mwandia, this work revealed a need to offer these services through a nonprofit structure, expanding access and removing barriers for lower-income communities.
As the Director of Programs for Humanity Vision, Grace is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of the organization’s initiatives. She is charged with ensuring that all programs are aligned with the organization’s goals and are making a measurable impact. Through strategic planning and hands-on leadership, Grace drives the success and growth of the organization’s programs.
Grace’s vision is to impact as many lives as possible while giving back to communities in need – starting with her current place of residency in King County, Washington, and soon expanding to her home country, Kenya, and the rest of Africa.


Kristen Justice
Treasurer
Kristen Justice brings over 25 years of experience in the human services field to her role as Treasurer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Family Services from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Throughout her career, Kristen has served in various capacities within nonprofit and human service organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to community well-being and program impact. ​Her diverse professional background includes providing direct care for children from infancy through middle school, as well as leading program development and implementation efforts for day habilitation services. Kristen has also worked extensively in connecting individuals and families with critical community resources, leveraging her expertise in resource navigation and referral coordination to strengthen support systems.

As Treasurer, Kristen combines her passion for service with a strategic and detail-oriented approach to organizational stewardship. Her understanding of programmatic needs and operational frameworks positions her as a vital contributor to the fiscal oversight and sustainability of the organization. Kristen is deeply committed to advancing inclusive and effective support services that empower individuals and families to thrive.
Daisy Mancilla
Board Secretary
Daisy brings extensive experience to Humanity Vision as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. In her role as Board Secretary, she leverages her expertise to offer programmatic guidance and recommendations, ensuring that Humanity Vision’s services are trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, effectively meeting the essential needs of those they serve.
Daisy holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law, and Society, as well as in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. She also earned a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Daisy’s clinical expertise and experience bring valuable skills to Humanity Vision’s mission.
